You must be a registered user to use the IMDb rating plugin. Drama, It may not have the Hollywood action you may be expecting but it makes up for in sheer grit and suspense. This is James Bond done by Channel 5, with all the tension and sophistication of the Victoria Beckham kidnap plot.

The title is a popular colloquialism for spies, and the series follows the work of a group of MI5 officers based at the service's Thames House headquarters, in a highly secure suite of offices known as The Grid. Certain that there is a traitor in a senior position in MI5, he enlists the somewhat reluctant Will to help him in uncovering the rat or rats concerned. But when he realizes that someone inside of his team has aided a wanted international terrorist in his escape and he himself is suspected, he decides to take matters into his own hands and recruits one of his former guys, Kit Harrington into proving his innocence. | MI5 personnel are caught up in a traffic jam in London while escorting the CIA's most wanted terrorist to an arranged CIA handover point, when he is suddenly rescued by armed men on motorbikes. A geeky pizza boy who always dreamed of being a spy, recruits his loser friends to help him prove that a local dry cleaner is a front for espionage.
Harrington his very likable, as he always has been.

Spooks was undoubtedly a riveting espionage drama series for the BBC which never shied away from killing off some of its key cast members.
However Harry has disappeared for a reason.
