Everyone lets their dogs run loose along the shoreline, even dogs that are aggressive and not under any sort of voice control. Reunions and groups are welcome here! It was beautiful to kayak in the morning and then out on the boat in the afternoon. If they did not want to wear a mask they could exit on the other side of the facility. Nice RV sites on the grass by the water... setup your chairs right on the water, no need to go down to the swim area.
Cabin was a little bit of a walk, across a busy road, to get to the resort beach.
Rainer is about 40 minutes away. We learned the resort was acquired by new owners/management this year. We were not actually trying to close down the dining room, as you suggest, but instead, at the request of several people in the dining room, dimming the lights so they could better see the fireworks display going on around the lake.
