They transform the space into an elegant lounge featuring dramatic lighting, a large dance floor, and a relaxing atmosphere.
Lance meticulously maintains the 30-acre grounds which cannot be an easy task. The resort itself has 20 rooms and sits on a beautiful, small-sized lake. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The National Register for Historic Places added the theatre to its list in 1985.

We wish you a beautif...Our experience was magical. All weekend our guests commented about what a great place Sojourn is and they were so happy we are talking about planning a family reunion! This venueâs blend of old and new, along with their big bay windows that provide abundant natural light, make this a photographerâs paradise with all of its beautiful backdrops. Joy is extremely helpful when planning from afar. This is a wedding weekend that your guests will never forget.
She went above and beyond the day of the wedding. One of the groomsman brought a ski boat up to the resort, and many of the guests spent time on the water. !ere both outstanding individuals with top-notch personalities, and clearly a Couples can also exchange heartfelt vows on their gorgeous garden, featuring lawn seating, a gazebo, and a waterfall. The reception hall provided an intimate setting for the dinner and ample space for the bar and dance floor. Our families have stated that we have set the bar for all others weddings because of how much fun everyone had.
We were married on a Friday and booked the resort for the full weekend.

Sojourn Lakeside Resort is the best of the best if you're looking for extended stay options. We cannot recommend Sojourn, Joy, and her team, highly enough.

I highly recommend this venue! Xoxobeat. The buildings are updated yet still keeping to the history of the property. We wanted a relaxed vibe for the reception so we had live music outside on the patio. The Shriners Silver Garden Event Center provides couples with a venue that has an enchanting ambiance blended with modern elegance. The rooms are super clean and the hospitality room is a nice bonus for small groups to gather. When Florida gets too hot, come visit us!We held our wedding at Sojourn the weekend of August 23-26.
