Restrooms/changing rooms are ok. Small limited selection snack bar and a great boardwalk/beach. We rented two padded beach chairs and a large umbrella (it withstood some real wind gusts mid-morning!).

We were lucky enough to grab a spot at one of the picnic tables close to the water to wait for the launch and met up with some people that had a radio where we could hear Mission Control and the astronauts communicate during the launch, which was amazing. The beach never felt crowded although more people showed up after lunch. We didn’t really want to pay $15 to check out the park for 30 minutes.

Just look at it that you're keeping some great people employed. It is just over an hour’s drive from our friends house in Kissimmee and makes a great day out at the beach without having to travel too far. You can definitely see they make good use of the fee.
