I will have to come back to the series again in the future.A fun collection, though fans of the TV show might be confused by the differences, and the definite ending makes a future series very unlikely indeed.I'm not really a fan of zombies, but this comic series is an exception. For those of you who watch the show, this is not like the show. iZombie Vol.
I grabbed this after watching about three episodes of the tv series.
Not everyone is alive..or even from this world.

I bought this because I love the "iZombie" CW series, as have many others, but it's completely different. She sets out to fulfill the dead person's last request, solve a crime, or right a wrong. The comic and show don’t have a lot in common, and they both stand out on their own.
Read Izombie Vol 3 online, read in mobile or Kindle. Very different from the TV show but still an amazing read
The story is different but no less interesting.It's a pretty comical book in terms of writing. Fantastic edition for a great story, definitely worth the purchase. Sturdy and thorough, also including some art from the show, it is filled with schlocky art and storylines that feel like Evil Dead 2 or Goosebumps or something.
Gwendolyn "Gwen" Dylan is a 20-something gravedigger in an eco-friendly cemetery. Gwen may be solving mysteries and resolving the dead's unfinished business in this comic but you seldom ever get to see the mystery solving. It was way different than the show, and I knew that going in, but it didn't wow me like I thought that it would, like I hoped that it would really. While there are some similarities between Gwen and Liv, the comics are more fantastical. Although I do think the ending justifies it.Chris Roberson is a science fiction author and publisher based in Austin, Texas, best known for alternate history novels and short stories. Once a month she must eat a human brain to keep from losing her memories, but in the process she becomes consumed with the thoughts and personality of the dead person until she eats the next brain.
