Due to Home stay owner problem , Owner denied our booking but Agoda team given another higher cost booking with same rate what we paid to home stay.

For example, when i asked the person on the phone, if they intended to do anything to help me, she repeated that that was the average rate listed.
Go for agoda.They state that your card won't be charged at time of booking but they blocked several hundred dollars on my card immediately for a booking three months away. They nearly screwed me over with my trip, so I am just not inclined to book with them again when there are more reliable choices. Upon arriving the hotel staff too were surprised by the price I was charged and I can't even get a refund from agoda. In turn received an email saying my booking is NON-REFUNDABLE! They dont event deserve 1/2 star at all.I recently booked a hotel through Agoda.com and had a terrible customer service experience and will not use them again.

You may want to book directly with the hotel to avoid confusion and added fees from websites that coordinate the reservations for you. First we booked through Agoda (Kenya- 27/12) and even though, at the counter, we have been chased by the hotel because they didn’t have received the booking from the channel manager (Agoda’s partner) and there was no room left in Mombasa…We could find a nice african in the street to take care of us. All my hotels were booked through Agoda and my flights and Grand Prix tickets booked elsewhere. Someone mentioned that Priceline owns Agoda.

They offer customers a “Lowest Price Guarantee”; essentially, if you find a better deal within 48 hours from the time of booking, they will either match or reduce the price to beat that deal. The hotel we bioked looked nothing like the pictures and he was horrible, smelly and inappropriate for use. Telephone number gets you nobody and email goes no where.totally disgusted no phone number on reservation to callWith virus shutdown cant get anyone on phone for reservation in 2 days Yes. They don’t help you practically, they easily cheat you…!They cancelled my booking without permission exactly before my travel and only suggested a 50 dollar gift card to me.This company is a scam, they stole my money and don’t want to return it be very careful, report this to the FBI.It’s illegal to charge something over the agreed amount and AGODA is stealing money!I had such a negative experience with Agoda recently. Most importantly Agoda BOOKING CONFIRMATION had WRONG DATES! Please check out my I disagree about agoda.com. According to their website, the "best price guarantee" they offer can only be claimed before checking in.
Avoid this Agoda site as much as possible. I requested that they either cancel the booking or change for a less expensive room but they kept repeating that the "special rate" was an average.
I attempted to change the booking and did not receive a reply. Five different answers from five staff! Agoda also stated “We also get your frustration because we are customers as well aside from being one of the teams here in Agoda.”Finally Agoda stated “Please note that this decision mainly came from the hotel and we at Agoda do not have any control over their decision.”I would not recommend using Agoda as a booking website as there customer service is terrible and they do not try to help make things right for customers.I would never use this site again ,due to them publishing pictures of hotel rooms that are not the room you are going to get .after contacting them on numerous occasions sending pictures of proof ,all they want to do is deny the evidence infront of them and blame someone elseSITE IS A SCAM – totally takes advantage of people.
