But they messed that up too as she unfortunately falls into the cliche as a damsel in distress role; as a result end her character is uneven and yet another unnecessary tangent this movie takes. The talents of Damon and Ledger are both squandered here and a lot of the portrayals of both the German and French characters are downright offensive and keep in mind this is even with someone like Jonathan Pryce and Peter Stormare helming some of the supporting cast.
