The camp is set in the heart of the 33 000 hectare private reserve which comprises a matrix of palm-dotted islands, flood plains and woodland, this is typical of the region’s unique landscape and although the flood water is significantly less and later to arrive than previous years we are indeed seeing a push coming into the reserve from the Ngoka channel. As a Great Plains Conservation property, there is a commitment to conservation that runs through the management of the property, from the biodegradable soap to the use of solar power.
