You definitely need a vehicle as mass transit isn’t available there.

Take a ferry ride and see around downtown Baltimore area. The schools are great and are a wonderful way for suburb kids to mix with other kids from different places.I grew up in the area, and I have very much enjoyed it. It’s a rapidly growing suburb as there are brand new modern houses and neighborhoods being constantly constructed everywhere thus the rapid growth of population in all the public schools. Not much diversity, the residents are primarily white.Pasadena has working class folks and their families. You often run into a neighbor in the grocery store who has some sort of gossip or fact about another neighbor or what is going on.Moving to Pasadena from Baltimore was a great choice for us. You rarely hear about it. We rarely hear cases of anything bad happening.

Quick drive to the eastern Shore where you can enjoy one of our beaches including ocean city beach. It is what it is, a nice, quiet (older) neighborhood where your neighbor might be a plumber, electrician, or work for NSA.Love this area. My kids are younger and they go to a daycare/learning center in Annapolis.
I have been living in Anne Arundel for five years. People around town are nice and respectful. Every year there is a circus being held at the Marley Station Mall! I have lived in Severn 7 years now and I cannot complain.
The shopping and amenities within 5 to 10 minutes are limited. However, the houses are very cookie cutter and it is hard to find things to do within Riva.Maryland is really nice, there are a lot of things to do within Annapolis also, since it is a historical place. The schools are great. My husband works towards Annapolis, and I work in Baltimore City. Incorporated Cities, Towns & Census Designated Places in Anne Arundel County. Schools are nice, and there are plenty of places to go for any occasion- getting food, riding a bike, shopping, and definitely getting a new car- if you poke your head around the area just a bit.Great community with nice people. Amazing fireworks on the fourth of July.Schools could be better. There are bus stops for those without transportation. Very low crime and great schooling. Four Seasons Elementary has small classes and Arundel Middle and High School are great Public Schools that has academics combined with CAT-North (Center of Applied Technology aka trade school) twice a week. You're near popular cities without having to be too close and enduring the headache of traffic.Great neighborhood and close to the Marley Station Mall.

We have a good bit and we do a good bit with it, in regards to money and resources. It’s a safe place on the broadneck peninsula surrounded by water. Some decent restaurants may be found in the vicinity, and Annapolis, with its generous shopping choices and excellent hospital, is but 30 minutes away.Ferndale is a quaint little town tucked away within Glen Burnie, MD. About 45 minutes from DC and Baltimore, and 10 to Annapolis. The schools in Anne Arundel County also interact with one another often; friends, especially groups of high school students, will cross over from school to school. You also have easy access to multiple highways - 32, 295, 95, 100, and many more.

I loved it. I would definitely look into different locations in Glen Burnie because in some areas it may not be safe.I have lived here for 16 years.

The only thing I would like to see different is 1) more diversity-friendly places and 2) less expensive!Odenton is a diverse area with a variety of recreation and consumer opportunities. I wouldn’t want to grow up in any other place in Maryland as Arnold (Broadneck Peninsula) is the best place to raise a family.
